The United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is a Catalyst Sponsor of the inaugural SOWTH Conference.
NRCS’s mission to deliver conservation solutions so agricultural producers can protect natural resources and feed a growing world aligns closely with SOWTH’s goals. Taking place from February 4-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center, the gathering will unite over 1,000 farmers, ranchers, producers, and advocates committed to sowing a strong and sustainable agricultural movement across the region.
NRCS works with people and organizations across the country to improve and protect soil, water, and other natural resources. With offices covering all 159 counties in Georgia, NRCS partners with local conservation districts to deliver technical and financial assistance to landowners, helping to integrate conservation practices in a range of land operations. By supporting SOWTH 2025, NRCS provides attendees with valuable insights on applying conservation techniques that enhance farm productivity and resilience while protecting natural resources for future generations.
Together, SOWTH 2025 and NRCS will advance their shared values of sustainability, collaboration, and innovation. The agency’s support ensures that the conference will be a hub for transformative solutions that strengthen the agricultural community across the South.
