Join us at Decimal Place Farm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, for a hands-on experience in sustainable dairy goat farming – from making goat cheese to managing healthy pastures.
Decimal Place, located in Conley, Georgia, is run by Mary Hart Rigdon, who began farming on just a tenth of an acre before expanding to 40 acres in 1995. Rigdon and her family raise American Saanen goats, known for their gentle nature and high milk production. Her mission is to provide fresh, local cheese to her community and offer opportunities for agricultural education and volunteering.
The 1.5-hour farm tour offers:

- Tips for sustainable grazing techniques and pasture management.
- Insights into best management practices for dairy goats, such as care routines and health management.
